Improving diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in scholarly communications and in society at large

Alice Meadows is the former Director of Community Engagement at the National Information Standards Organization NISO, the Co-Founder of MoreBrains Cooperative and the President of the Society for Scholarly Publishing, SSP.

Before joining NISO, she was the Director of Communications (and previously Director of Community Engagement and Support) at ORCID. At NISO, she is responsible for engaging with and developing the NISO community, including communicating the value of their projects, events, and programs.

She is a senior marketing and communications professional with over thirty (30) years of experience in scholarly publishing and communications, and also a passionate leader with a proven track record of success in all aspects of management strategy and operations.

Alice joins Jo on this podcast to talk about improving diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in scholarly communications and in society at large.
